We played significant pivotal roles in the crusade that led to the new pension dispensation in Nigeria.

KDA Associates, represented by our Senior Consultant and Managing Partner, Mr. K.D Adesina, participated actively both as resource firm/person and Chairman, Communiqués Committee at the concluded National Enlightenment/Campaign Workshop/Training on the Contributory Pension Reform Act 2004 organised by the Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation, the Presidency and the World Bank (EMCAP).

The National Enlightenment/Campaign Workshop/Training covered the North West and North East, Western and Southern Zones of Nigeria and was conducted in Sokoto, Bauchi, Ibadan and Calabar respectively, ushering in the wide acceptance of the Pension Reform by the labour, trade unions, the organized private sector, the states and local governments and the international community.

One of the communiqués issued at the workshops is recommendation to all pension funds to comply with the provisions of the Act and carry out immediate actuarial valuation of their schemes.
